I had read a short review of Her Dark Destiny that compared it to the Mortal Instruments, as a total complete fan girl of Cassandra Clare I knew I had to read this book. It really did feel like a more grown-up version of her books, hunters fighting in a team against monsters. Yet it felt like a lot more. The characters are engaging, the monsters seriously creepy."
